High School's Library Media Center
The
purpose of RHS's library media center is to support the mission
of Baltimore County Public Schools. Randallstown's media center
is the information center of the school and intends to empower
our students to reach their maximum potential and become independent,
productive, responsible citizens, and life-long learners. We
will accomplish this by: 1. providing intellectual freedom of
access to challenging materials which align with the BCPS curriculum;
2.collaborating with and assisting fellow teachers in integrating
instructional and information technology into the curriculum;
3.providing resources and activities which adapt to students'
individual learning capabilities and interests; 3.promoting information
literacy through effective and appropriate uses of technology;
and,4. sponsoring or endorsing programs which encourage an enduring
love of reading.
