The Rams varsity football team is currently 6-1. Hard play and passion have propelled them to a higher playing level. The team hopes to maintain that smart level of play all season as they strive to reach their goals.

Members of the team have already stated that they would like to go undefeated (10-0), but the main goal is to become state champions.

With hunger in their hearts and eyes, the varsity team is doing everything in their power to come out victorious. The team is focused on their goals, and they’re not overlooking anyone on the quest to be the best. They are taking it one game and one step at a time.

With games remaining such as Dundalk, Patapsco, Loch Raven and the biggest, at the end of the season being Calvert Hall, the Rams are looking to be a dominant and well oiled machine going into the home stretch and into the playoffs. The Rams definitely have the hunger, drive and will to win, but it will take more than will to win the State Championship.

The minor set back against Eastern Tech on the road stopped their winning streak and their chances of going 10-0 this season. But, knowing Coach Howard and his Rams, one loss will not stop them from obtaining their ultimate goal.

The Calvert Hall game also promises to be a high level, high impact, well anticipated game. Calvert Hall is a great team and they are well recognized, but, so are the Rams; that’s what will make this game so exciting.

The Rams will not stop and will not quit, the rest of the season is going to be exciting to say the least.
