Boys Varsity team ready for playoffs The Rams varsity football team is currently 6-1. Hard play and passion have propelled them to a higher playing level. The team hopes to maintain that smart level of play all season as they strive to reach their goals.
“We finished the regular season with a 6-3 victory over Chesapeake placing us in first place in the division. Our record to date is 9-1-1 in our league and 10-2-1 overall,” says Coach K.G., soccer.
Athlete changes sports routine This year, Eric Nixon is not going to continue with his regular school-year sports routine. Every year of his high-school career, Nixon has run track, and it has always been his favorite sport. This year, Eric decided to step up and run cross-country.
Enjoy life advises RHS athlete “Why be mad all the time when you can laugh and make other people laugh as well. Life is short; so, you might as well have fun while you can,” says Katrina Carrington, senior.
