Dear
Parents and Students:
Last
year, we began paying attention to changing the environment
and climate here at Randallstown High School. For the most
part, it appears that we were successful. This is, in part,
because most of the students did what they were asked to do,
went to their classes, and were well behaved. The staff was
exceedingly proud of most of our young ladies and gentleman.
We want them to now take these positive attitudes into their
classrooms on a consistent basis and meet with excellence.
Be very
clear that the school’s rules and guidelines are not to hold
you prisoner but to set you free. Each student who comes
into this school must find excellence in our delivery of
lessons, and each student must leave here with an education
second to none. Mediocrity cannot be our standard! A good
education is the cornerstone for finding real freedom in the
choices we are able to make in our lives!
Please read the following information carefully, for it
highlights rules that will make you successful here. You
will see the rules, which are simple: come to school dressed
appropriately, possess a positive attitude, and participate
in lessons that are rigorous and engaging.
Let us
point out that next year, we will be on a four period day
and as such students will have eight classes instead of
seven, four on “A” day and four on “B” day. You will find
that this is a much better means of giving students the
opportunities they need to compete when trying to get into
colleges, the work force, or the military.
Again,
carefully read the information below so that this school
year will be a successful one for you and your child.
Students, enjoy the rest of your summer, and come back
refreshed and ready to do your very best.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

Reed, Assistant Principal
