Randallstown High School,
located at 4000 Offutt Road, is a continuation of the
original Randallstown High School that existed from 1918
– 1931 at the present-day site of Randallstown Elementary
School. In 1922, the first graduating class from the original
Randallstown High School consisted of fourteen (14) students.
From 1931 – 1961,
Catonsville, Milford Mill, Franklin, and Woodlawn High
Schools served the Randallstown community. Burgeoning
enrollments required a new facility.
Randallstown High School
opened at our current site in September 1969, with grades
ten and eleven plus and elementary school housed temporarily
within our walls. The following year, a class of 374 seniors
graduated. Randallstown High School qualified for membership
in the Middle States Association, and in the fall of 1972,
RHS received full accreditation.
In 1975, an open-space
area and several more self-contained classrooms were added
to the school to help accommodate an ever-increasing enrollment.
